The food was cheap with variety of choice! The room was warm, heated with the hand basin in the bedroom. Location: the hotel was near the publicised restaurant as well as the outskirts of the town.
No!

Nothing to complain about, really, had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights. Clean and the staff was pleasant. There were huge bathroom and neat and huge room. Location: the hotel was so close to Cranleigh and town centre. Also, it was within 15 minutes walk from School Chapel.

Comfy beds that ensured a great night's sleep.
No hand soap provided in the bathroom. Had to use shower gel instead.

Comfy room and tasty eats
The room was super comfy with a big double bed and a nice view. Loved the large bathroom too! We hit the bar/lounge area for drinks and lounged about, chill. The only bummer was parking filled up fast on the weekend. Absolutely loved the Sunday roast-best food around!

Lively bar atmosphere is enjoyable.
Upon arrival, I was locked out and had no guidance on how to get in. The musty smell in the bathroom and mold by the window were quite unpleasant. I expected a room with a bath as advertised, but instead, I was stuck with a shower. The owner showed no concern for my experience, and I left feeling disappointed without any refund or proper apology.

The twin room was really comfy with good bedding. Breakfast was surprisingly good thanks to barbara who agreed to cook for us which was a nice touch. The bar area was chill and not busy, perfect for a quiet drink. Really nice vibe with the staff and felt super welcomed!

Terrible experience all around
We stayed for 4 nights, but honestly, it was a mess. No restaurant, no food, just a bare-bones place closing down. Totally misled by what was promised online. The room was fine, but we didn't even have enough toilet paper! You'll get better luck.

Had an awesome group getaway! We explored the nearby countryside and visited a few local pubs. The place offers comfy beds and clean rooms. Just keep in mind, the bar isn't always stocked, so plan your drinks in advance.
We couldn't find any shower mats in our room, a bit of a letdown. It would have been nice for safety.

I appreciated the clean and tidy rooms and the full English breakfast included at no extra cost. Consider arriving early to enjoy the facilities before the local pubs close.

I loved my stay here, especially enjoying the clean linens and the delicious cooked breakfast that kick-started my day. I also took advantage of the walking trails nearby and the cozy tea tray in my room for some downtime. The only downside was the early closing time of the pub, which might not suit everyone, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

The room was really nice-spacious and cozy with a large comfy bed. It felt bright and airy, thanks to the big window. The bathroom was huge, which I loved! Plus, there were plenty of sockets near the bed, and the TV worked without a hitch. Just wish they'd had some shower mats available. A solid experience.
